OnBid · pay-to-rank leaderboard
What is OnBid?
OnBid is a public product leaderboard where position is earned with money, not votes. Submit a product, place a verified bid, and climb. The higher your cumulative verified bid, the higher you rank.
How ranking works
- Submit any public website or official App Store / Play Store link. One listing per website.
- Bid whole dollars (USD, $1 minimum). Payments run through Dodo Payments.
- Rank: highest cumulative verified bid is #1. Ties go to the older bid timestamp.
- Stay visible: each verified payment locks a 30-day slot. Expired slots drop off until a new bid re-activates them.
- Defend: rivals can outbid you at any time. Top up to hold your spot.

FAQ
What is OnBid?
OnBid is a pay-to-rank product leaderboard. Makers submit a website or app-store link, place a verified whole-dollar bid, and climb a public board. There are no votes, no likes, no algorithms — only verified payments.
How is rank decided?
Rank is ROW_NUMBER() over total verified bid cents descending, then earliest bid timestamp ascending. Highest cumulative verified bid is #1. Older bids win ties.
How much does it cost to rank?
Bids are whole dollars only, $1 minimum, USD only. Your bid is cumulative — everything you have ever paid keeps counting toward your total.
How long does a rank stay visible?
Every verified payment locks or extends a 30-day visibility slot. New listings show ON APPROACH for the first 72 hours, CLEARED when more than 7 days remain, BOARDING when 7 days or fewer remain. Expired slots drop off until re-activated by a new bid.
Can someone take my spot?
Yes. Anyone can outbid you by paying the difference plus $1. You can defend by topping up at any time.
Who processes payments?
Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record. Card details go directly to Dodo Payments. Webhooks are the source of truth — a bid counts only after payment.succeeded is verified.
Who operates OnBid?
